I had my pic up for a short while and I got reprimanded by a friend who is a male devotee to take it down immediately. I agreed with him because I am in the medical field and prefer to keep my private life very private. I am certainly willing to share photos of myself if I get to know the person.

I guess I would say that I'm "out" in that I've dated disabled men in the past, although unfortunately no one with an SCI. But it's very different to flash your picture on a message board like this. It's hard to articulate exactly, but I think that people are much more understanding of a girl who dates disabled guys than of a girl who actively seeks them out, reads erotic stories about them, and fantasizes about them. Also, if I want to post a pic, how do I do it? I need to get someplace to host it, right? Sorry I'm not very web savvy. try something like yahoo geocities  you can send your pics to that and link too them |

No, it's not. I took it from Thora Birch's character in Ghost World.
My real name isn't Spanish per se either. It's Basque, and extremely rare, so I'm not comfortable using it online. I wouldn't mind doing so if my name was María or Ana, but I'm literally the only girl in my area with that name. A classmate told me when she met me, "hey! a friend of mine has a friend called that too!" and it turned out we had a friend in common! ;D

I liked 'Ghost World'. What's weird is that Thora in that movie strongly resembles the first real-life dev I ever met; same hair, same body, similar face...
Question: At the end of the film, did Enid commit suicide? That's kind of what I thought that her getting on the 'cancelled' bus, as Norman did, meant; like she gave up in some way, faded away.
So are you of Basque descent, Enid?

No, I'm not of Basque descent. My parents were working there when I was born, so I ended up with a Basque name ;D About the ending... well, it did feel that way to me, like it was a metaphor for suicide, but I think it's a bit open... To be honest, I don't think I can answer intellectual questions about that movie. I was drooling too much a bit distracted, all I wanted to figure out was who Thora Birch was and how had such a beautiful girl slipped under my radar!  |

I know. She is extremely sexy in that movie. Unfortunately she's lost a lot of weight since then.
In GW, Thora has such a range of looks: from very childlike and vulnerable to extremely put together and sophisticated.

Many people on this site are devotees who have this site to be happy to chat about thier thoughts and feelings, many of which they dont even want to talk about with family! It is annoying to me when people are rude enough to tell female devotees on the group to put pictures of themselves as their avatar, whilst the people suggesting it havent even got the guts to put one up of themselves! I ont think it is cool to have to be annonymous, just a very sad fact of life that it sometimes has to be, due to the lack of understanding of the majority  Thank you for your positive comment though fubb  |

I dont pressure people to send pictures and I have friends on this group that I interact with via messenger, pm,s or exchanging emails. Once we get to know each other it is nice to exchange pictures or see each other on cam to get to know the person we are talking too As mentioned on previous posts, a lot of devotees dont want to show their face on a public site, specially if they dont want people to know they are a devotee. |
