At home I am used to just have a chill family dinner and some good food, simple presents and that it. This year, instead, I am actually traveling to another country with my friends to celebrate in the beach and go to parties since here it's summer. By the same token, I am also planning on the going to another city to start college so, this new year seems to be full of surprises and new experiences.
What about you?

I have a curse where any romantic partner I have breaks up with me just before the holidays, so I spend them by myself. I'm always hoping to break it by kissing some special cutie at midnight for New Year's... Chances are looking grim this year. lol Probably go to some random party, hoping for a miracle.

Well that's interesting. Still remember you always have next year to try. In my case, I just don't know why but I have great feelings for 2020 as a year for me, Idk I just do.

Always go to my sisters and brother in-laws on Christmas Eve, lots of family, food and Tom and Jerrys. It is only a few miles from my house so easy it's just always so cold here in MN early in the morning when we break up the party, 2am or later.
My dad remodeled my sisters house and I still have 3 steps to get in door and half a set to get up where we open presents. Good my nephew and I are strong it goes pretty easy.
Can't wait for some good food, living alone I do not have much time to cook.

If I’m remembering right, this will be my first Christmas single in over a decade. I’ll be spending it with family, which I’m looking forward to because it’s a very limited amount of time with each set of family members. I’ll be able to have my son for an entire week straight tho which will be amazing. I’ve missed him so much since I started graduate school and went from having him every other weekend to just one weekends a month. We have a lot of fun activities planned since he said he really wanted to make memories this year (he’s going on 10 in April). All in all, I’m not really concerned about not having a kiss under the mistletoe this year... which is something I could have never felt confident saying before, so yay me.

Christmas: Spending it with family. Going out for a meal and visiting family with Parents on the day itself then having the proper 'day' (home-cooked meal and gifts) on the 27th. No idea what Boxing Day'll be like, probably prep for the day after. It'll be a weird one this year.
New Year's: God I'm dreading this, but as of now it looks like I'll be going to a 20's themed party at a local pub only because it'll get me out of the house. I'd rather not stay in, because that'll mean having to put up with an obnoxious housemate who will no doubt have her friends over, trashing the place and making the atmosphere unbearable....again.
Not that I mind people throwing parties, but just give me a fucking warning like the others do. God, I'll be happy when I move in a few month's time. But it's been a good stepping stone all the same.

Spending NYE man down. Having surgery on the 28th. Christmas is always spent with my immediate family (there are only 4 of us). So, not much. We do gifts, cinnamon rolls, and then go to the casino.

Every year Christmas Eve is spent with immediate family - parents, brother and grandma & her partner. We eat a lot, sing a bit and do gifts. Up until a couple years ago, afterward I’d go out to a club with friends, but not anymore. Christmas Day we rarely have any plans, we just keep eating, watch movies, sit at the fireplace... This year I will probably be spending Christmas Day with my boyfriend and his dad and/or mum and/or family. On the 26th, which here in Germany is the second Christmas Day (yes. we get two Christmases 😜), every year we go out to eat with my extended family, which is really nice as it’s that one time of the year we all get to get together. This year I’m kinda nervous though because I’m bringing my new boyfriend and I think most of them don’t even know I broke up with my ex, who they met two years ago. So I’m hoping it doesn’t get too awkward. I’m just glad it’s not another wheeler, because they didn’t take that very well the last time.
Don’t have any plans for NYE yet. Probably some friend’s party.

Spending it with my Brothers at home, nothing special, as my twin and I were saying to each other the other day "Until we're parents, Christmas is probably going to be pretty basic"

Leaving the snowy northland for the AZ desert. 🌵 I'm in the Northland and we have no snow yet. I'm kind of disappointed.
