There's a disability expo here this weekend. That's another type of opportunity, it seems to me. I doubt there are many devs who attend to ck out the guys, but I bet that some of the exhibitors are. It seems that devs do have some tendency to seek out jobs relating to disability stuff.

*shakes head in shame* 'Hot welfare moms!?' Well each to his own I guess. That sounds like a world of trouble...

Actually speaking of disability expos, and stuff...the NDSA Indoor Wheelchair Soccer Tournament is taking place next weekend November 10, 11, and 12, in Kings' Park, New York (it's on Long Island) people should check it out.

*shakes head in shame* 'Hot welfare moms!?' Well each to his own I guess. That sounds like a world of trouble... lol...i was playin, man!!! One rule i have in life is to never add a girl that brings me DOWN...i've had enough people in my life that hurt me and held me back from enjoying life, and i don't need "trouble" chicks around me. I do desire having a great chick fits my piece of puzzle well, and i've had enough close-calls, but i see plenty of AB dude friends with stressful, sexless, stupid relationships, and i want no part of it. As for wheeler events, i find bem boring, and haven't been to one in many years...guess that's where the devs are!!!

these days by the time any of us reach about 30 we are carrying a huge load of baggage,,,i know several ladys who could meet the dubious qualifications for the title "welfare mom"...and its isnt that they like that its just a fact that they simply cant earn enuff to support their family while paying for daycare...sorta the same catch-22 many of us crips face when deciding to pursue work as opposed to living on entitlements...where u cant afford your healthcare needs even if you are receiving good bennies where u work....i know 1 "welfare mom" who,,,like me...has figured out a way to use her talents in such a way as to fly below the radar & feed her kids,,,,i dunno about other states but the amount of help provided by "welfare" is just enuff to acheive a subsistence living,,,

Too bad the soccer thing is on Long Island. Too traumatic to drive there from the hinterlands where I live. Otherwise, I'd be there. Oh, yeahhh.

That actually reminds me of someone telling me a story about them being in Puerto Rico, and at the airport in San Juan, there was Graffiti that said: Go to Holyoke, Massachusets. The welfare is better there.
I'm a big-time jock when it comes to sports, so I take any chance I can get to be involved in events...like to advertise IWS in particular to get more people playing.
The whole financial situation does really suck for us. Social Security is made to entrap us into poverty...'All Men Created Equal' my ass.

I recently heard a great quote that i attribute to my life: "The creative mind will succeed , despite bad circumstances." Over the years, I've found ways to survive financially...i'd live like shit if i didn't push the limits, so i don't feel guilty about doing what i have to do.

Yup Windrider, music/writing are big part of my life, but as i'm getting older, my goals are more on building a financial nest. I haven't accomplished all my goals with writing or music, but i've had enough success with it to feel content...for now!! www.anthonyrainstarez.com

Literary and musical artists are often 'starving artists' too...I guess I can't compain...in my local area I've acquired some fame...or notoriety...I'd like to believe I have a little of both.

...i've achieved more 'starvation' than 'notoriety', but hey, sometimes you gotta starve a LOT to get a little. ; )

Yeah, luckily my ancestors didn't have to eat a lot to survive, they could live on a teaspoon of rice for a week. I wish I could starve to get 'a little' of something else
