Unfortunately, I only have one tattoo at the moment. Lol. Much to the dismay of my parents, one of my uncles took me to get this. It was a gift from my him and my aunt for graduating from community college, and for starting at a four year university. I originally thought that I wanted a graffiti kind of design, but fell in love with this concept when I saw it.

I was just discussing the subject with my dad. He was in the Royal Navy and has got more ink on him than a ordinance survey map! 😂 last year he had BCFC on his back. This is something that I would like, but I am worried about spasm/sensation and the dreaded dysreflexia. Has anybody had any symptoms after having a tattoo below the area of sensation?

I have a bunch of tattoos. Here's my two favorites.







I've also given myself a bunch. A couple with a machine, mostly just stick and pokes. "SCUM" on my hand next to my sloth, a smiling slice of pizza on my forearm, "1312" on my fingers, a sawtooth wave on my calf, a big thing on my thigh that's incomplete and would be hard to explain, among others. If I wasn't unbelievably poor, I'd be covered head to toe by now. I'd look less like Danny Devito had a punk rock lovechild with Patton Oswalt, and more like Matty Matheson.

Lurking around here trying to gather the courage to get a couple tats myself one day, hehe. I change my mind too often tho and would probably hate them 10yrs from now tho 💀

I've been thinking about maybe some barbed wire pattern around my forearm+wrist maybe onto the hand (way to get closest you can to a hand tat without getting the hot fucking jobstopper) or same thing on the thighs, and definitely one day the obligatory mental health/suicide awareness semicolon, for reasons. That one's a matter of when I decide on a spot, don't want it to be a tiny one ★^★

And Armus I /definitely/ support the decision on the 1312 finger tat! (:<

Finger tattoos are hard. Mine are a little bit blown out unfortunately. It was supposed to just be the outline of the numbers, but it's kinda hard to tell due to the minor blowout, so I'm probably gonna have to go back over them to fill them in.

thanks dude We'll it has Viking symbolism     the tat has 2 dragons coming out of eachother that has  representation also each dragon has forked tongues The guy made them without that I told him to change it I was specific they needed forked tongues   
there is the  Viking compass  in there and Thors hammer   in that you can see Odins face 
these all hold meaning to me and my path not sure what gave me the inspiration  I just knew what needed to be in there and the back seems like the best place to fit it

Hi everyone, I'm a new member so I thought I'd join in the conversation as I'm covered in tattoos myself and I will post some photos soon just wanted to share

I can NEVER figure out how to add photos! 

But I did some digging to find a picture of this tattoo *before* kids.  I got this about 10 years ago.  It's faded a bit now and definitely needs some touch-ups. 

It's a blue flaming sword (not a fancy feather) from my family crest and our family motto.  "Certavi et vici"- I have fought and conquered. 

This is my only non-literary tattoo (other- 1 bible, 1 fairy tale, and 3 harry potter) until I finally get that Patriots Super Bowl Tattoo from 2017.  Plus, who wouldn't want a tattoo of a blue flaming sword?  LOL
