I donโt have IG and never followed anyone anywhere on social media. For some reason, it just doesnโt interest me much. I used to find certain scenes from movies featuring PWDs quite devvy. But same as my fantasies stopped to work for me after my first real life encounter with a para, Iโm not much interested in this anymore. But I like the memories of the moments with my ex-boyfriend for example. That kind of replaced all the things that I used to find devvy before.

I started to shudder when I saw some of those "standing in braces and kissing the girl" pics with the Madison guy. Why do I find this so annoying? These annoy me too. I think Matisse had a good point about them. It places the focus on being temporarily abled for the ceremony instead of being happy anyway and disabled. That's why it bugs me. Also a guy in a chair moving well is so much sexier than looking like a baby giraffe and not being able to move... Like use your resources.

I feel like a really lame dev now ๐ I am so boring when it comes to social media and following people...I basically don't. I think partly it is for self protection...

If anyone is interested in amputees PM me. I don't feel like its appropriate to share IG links here but am happy to do it privately.

I was also thinking about that earlier, is it okay to share the links? I mean the IG accounts are public, right? I know a while back I got reprimanded for posting a link to a YouTube video, so I have been cautious.

feelsunshine, I love Joel Brown. Didnโt know he had moved to an U.K. dance co. Glad to see him on IG. Thanks for sharing.

I have no issue with posting links to social media, let's face facts you don't post yourself on social media (without privacy settings) so as not to be seen.
As they say...
Instagram: please look at me. Twitter: please listen to me. Facebook: please like me!

I also had some slight concerns about sharing the links here - but I decided on sharing since: the guys want to have many people following them. If they wouldn't want people to follow them, they'd have a private account with only their friends following them. And the same I think goes for youtube videos. They are "out there" and can be found easily, so why not linking to them? People only profit from higher traffic I guess. Plus, I would definitely assume that all these guys know that devs exist. If you want anything to stay private on the internet, you shall not post it anywhere.

There is nothing wrong with people posting links here. I don't think its against board guidelines especially if the links are ones of guys who have many followers. I just didn't want to list a bunch of links for strangers to copy. There are lots of people who just lurk here and I didn't want to share with them. The lesser known amps on IG do not need a bunch of follow requests just because of something posted here.
