The legs thing - I actually have no idea why that is. I had some thoughts on this but I just don't know. I mean, I like good and attractive legs on guys. I check out legs on AB guys in the gym and be like, "nice legs"...but then I also like the non-functioning legs for some reason. I do enjoy defined arms and shoulders on any guy, so if the guy has that with the non-functioning legs...great combo for me.

Thanks Dani as I like congenital guys I think where that comes from for me is a fascination in how guys can are born with a disability which means their legs haven't worked since day one and yet they are still born with legs and you wonder what the point is with them developing legs in the first place. The fact they're completely non-functioning is extremely devvy to me, but only if it's coupled with a fully functioning upper body. I'm assuming with your preference for acquired guys your fascination is with a guy being born with fully functioning legs and having a traumatic incident which results in his legs immediately becoming completely non-functioning as a result of the trauma?

Whilst I am interested to see how people with no legs manage to adapt etc it doesn't push any dev buttons for me. The guy needs to have his legs fully attached to the rest of his body and for there to be some form of paralysis present from birth which affects his ability to walk and requires the use of a wheelchair on a permanent basis. I think for me the devvy aspect of it (and why I think I prefer congenital over acquired) is seeing how a guy can be born with everything where it should be on his body but because of a defect in the spinal cord he has had no use of his legs since birth and I have a deep fascination (obsession maybe) of trying to understand what the point is in him being born with legs that he has no use for. I also enjoy seeing how he manages to live his entire life with a part of the body that he can see is attached to him and looks like any other normal person's legs but he can't actually feel them or do anything useful with them and spends his entire time on the move having to drag his legs over with the rest of his strong able bodied upper half. I'm not sure if I'm making any sense or just rambling but that's been something I've really been fascinated with since I can really remember.

There are a few spina bifida guys here who I’m sure would answer your questions to satisfy your curiosity. I know the guys I’ve spoken to have been happy to answer questions. I think they’d rather answer the questions to dispel the mystery than have people stare in silence.

There’s no ideal / perfect for me, rather it’s about the balance between ability and adaptation. I prefer acquired SCIs because I find their strength / determination to be their best new selves a turn on. I quite like quad hands so maybe if I had to pick it might be better c7-c5 but ultimately it’s also about the person too.
