I met someone here 2 years ago for a pleasant one-time encounter in NYC, and sparks flew. we don't talk much anymore, but she's still on my netflix buddy list, and i recommend a movie to her every now and then

After chatting and e-mailing with several guys on here I've met two of them. I didn't fall in love with one of them, even though he is a great guy and a good friend. But I did fall in love with him: paradevo.proboards43.com/index.cgi?board=personals&action=display&thread=1139182272I just had to learn his language first to tell him that. Unfortunately he lives quite far away, and yes, distance is a problematic issue. You spent all your free time and quite some money on keeping up the relationship - regular visits, long phone calls, chatting all night,... It is basically because of him why I'm not present on this board anymore. Sometimes I just fall asleep, right here at my desk, with the webcam on and him talking to me... |

I was wondering the same thing, how many people have actually met on here? From what i've read, not many. I've found a few disabled dating sites but they're a joke. I'll just have to go about it the old fashioned way.

i hung out with sidney when i was out his way on holiday about a year and a half ago. that was fun.  but i haven't been traveling lately and no one from the board is in my vicinity. there are some posters (wheelers and devs) that i would try to meet up with if i ever found myself in their neck of the woods. |
