Yeah, I've had dreams like that. I'm dating an AB guy right now, and a little while ago I had a dream where he was in a wheelchair, but then part-way through the dream he was suddenly walking again. It wasn't the first time I'd had a dream like that, either. I don't know, dreams are strange.

Until some time ago, when I could still remember what I dreamt (damn sleeping pills!) I usually dreamt with a wheeler... never the same situation but I always woke up with this weird feeling that he was always the same wheeler. If you ask me to describe his features, I could never make it well... But yeah, I always dreamt with a wheeler...
I miss that dreams! jajajaja

@tc123, that sounds similar to my dreams.
In the first half year of our relationship, all my dreams were focused on my wheeler bf. In most cases, he was disabled and used a wheelchair, but surprised me by standing up and walking a few steps or at least standing up with my help. He once even climbed several staircases. In one dream, we were both much younger and he wasn't disabled, but it was before his accident. Over the time, his physical abilities in my dreams became more realistic. He doesn't play the main part in all my dreams anymore. Like tc123 called it, he is a "known figure". I know that he's my partner, but I don't always see him doing things that reveal whether he is disabled or not.
Just like tc123, I've had dreams about relatives of mine being disabled. While I remembered that they had been in an accident, I was still shocked about it, because in the real world they are AB, so their SCI was new to me. They were always paras, sometimes displaying physical abilities they weren't supposed to have, just like my bf in many dreams.
Although I dream about wheelers, I rarely devvy or sexual dreams. I wish I had them more often, but that's what daydreaming is for.

I dream all the time and sometimes they wake me up! I remember when I first met my guy and I dreamed a number of times he was a wheeler. It definitely intensified my attraction to him and sealed the deal

I know I dream but I hardly remember any of it. I do know that I've never dreamed of a wheeler though. Day dream about wheelers - yes! Sleep dream about wheelers - unfortunately a sad no

I had a recurring dream for many yrs of a wheeler. Many scenarios. Sometimes could see his face and other times, not. Then 1 yr I was on vacation with my youngest son and husband at the time and walked into a police station that had info for tourists and there he sat; in his wheel chair. I could hardly speak at the time. I was so in shock. I found reasons to return to the office several times to see him but was too shy and shocked to say much. Besides he had a weddding band on and so did I. For a lot of years I fantasized about him. When yrs later when I was single I moved to the town I had seen him in and had always been drawn to. Never saw him again though I still live in the town and love it here. Pretty weird.

Funny you brought this up now - a few days ago I had my first dream about a wheeler in longer than I can remember. He was a quad (and Im a para type of girl myself) and after a while he got up and walked a short distance. I was wondering what it meant...

Funny you brought this up now - a few days ago I had my first dream about a wheeler in longer than I can remember. He was a quad (and Im a para type of girl myself) and after a while he got up and walked a short distance. I was wondering what it meant... I'm quite happy for my dreams of wheelers to have no meaning at all and just enjoy them for the internal eye candy that they are. However, if someone could interpret the meaning of the dream I had about meat Countdown, I'd be most obliged. For those of you who have thankfully been spared this British daytime TV monstrosity, Countdown is basically a bunch of socially retarded semi-intellectuals trying to outdo each other with words and numbers in a 30 second time slot. In the numbers game, they pick a selection of numbers & the host picks a random large number as a target that they have to achieve. A ticking clock counts down the seconds as they furiously scribble away. In my dream, I had substituted bacon rashers and pork chops for numbers and as the final seconds ticked by loudly, I was frantically trying to stretch a piece of bacon the full length of the shelf I had arranged all my meat products on. Then the alarm clock went off... Well, that is stranger than just a walking wheeler dream. Mind you though, the same dream I was talking about earlier featured a semi-erotic thing with a female friend, meeting my sister on a bus where she told me she just quit her job and is now moving to the country but won't tell me where exactly or how to reach her, the wheeler, and a feminist lecture attended only by me and one other woman who screamed at me that I was an idiot for insiting on class rather than speciesism as the key point of power. Wanna do a dream analysis for each other some time?

I do. Actually, not so long ago, I had a dream of a wheeler. In real life, he would be my man without a second thought : ) Occasionally, I dream of my ex too.

Sometimes I dream about a wheeler 'ex' from many years ago. In the dream we are both in our prime and having foreplay to sex. I sometimes have a sleep orgasm, sometimes wake up feeling guilty (sleeping next to my husband) and other times just annoyed that this dream has continued to eat at my brain for so many years. Oh well.

For my first post ever...this is such an interesting topic! My ex had muscular dystrophy and used an electric chair, but for quite awhile he appeared in my dreams walking - he was still the same height and looked the same physically and everything, except for that fun fact. Eventually the longer I knew him, the less he appeared that way and finally I was having realistic dreams (or batshit crazy ones, where he was deliberately driving into the ocean to "go for a swim" and I'd be carrying him back to shore being like, what the heck are you doing!? Haha). My current boyfriend is paraplegic and I never dream of him any different than he is. I wonder what the deal is with that? Has anyone asked the guys how they see themselves in their dreams? I bet it's been discussed here before...but both my ex and current boyfriend never dream that they're disabled, although they also don't "walk" in their dreams. My ex described it as gliding or floating, which makes sense. (Both of them have been in chairs since they were about 4). Welcome, lilyth, nice to have you here Yes, we had this topic on the General Board. If I remember correctly, most guys are able-bodied in their dreams or use a chair but at the same time are able to walk. I once asked my bf about this. He said he doesn't remember most of his dreams, but he is usually as disabled as in real life.

I've orgasmed before in a dream, it felt very similar to an orgasm in real life though I woke up mid orgasm...left feeling unfulfilled.

I've had a sleep orgasm too (I don't remember what the subject matter of my dream was though). I'd assume it's the lady equivalent of wet dreams...
