Microsoft just finished their press conference. For those who watched, what did you think?
I think I'm looking forward to the new Tomb Raider and the new Division trailer was nice, but nothing really caught my eye. Although those new VR goggles for minecraft look fucking amazing.

The HoloLens will be awesome if it manages to produce the same visuals as in that demo.
Apart from that... a whole lot of "meh"

Yeah, nothing too exciting so far, aside from Fallout 4. Despite just starting 3, The series has already endeared itself to me due to it's atmosphere, freedom and the sheer scale. Playing Sanitarium too after buying it on Steam for under £5. What a game. Creepy, intense and with great visuals for the time, it's one of the best games I've played this year.
And after re-discovering the joys of Skyrim and Oblivion the other day, is Morrowind worth getting at all?

I was sorely disappointed with fallout 3 after playing the original Fallout games. As with Fallout 3+ I do not really enjoy the elder scrolls games, however Morrowind is my favorite of the series.

I've got Star Wars Battlefront and Total War: Warhammer on my list of must haves. I tried starting Fallout 3, and Fallout Vegas, but the game would crash eventually, and the game was just high enough on my scare o meter that I wasn't excited to get back to it, but the same was said for Oblivion until Skyrim came out, so I may have to wait for a major deal with Fallout 4 before I give it a go.

I found Vegas, at least, to be too complicated to be enjoyable. Like, there's good complicated and bad complicated and I found it to be the bad kind. I bought it because a friend of mine has it as his favorite game, but I couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll try when FO 4 comes out, but I dunno. I never did get into any of their games.

I thought Sony had the best conference. my mouth dropped when I saw the FF 7 remake. Final fantasy 7 is still one of my favorite games of all time. Horizon looks really good, unravel looks really interesting, and of course no man's sky. Sony just showed way more games that interest me.
Bethesda had a great conference too. I cant frickin wait for Fallout 4!!!

I think my sports phase has come to a close, I am feeling a little motivated to try some games I have just sitting in my steam Library that I haven't touched yet.

I think my sports phase has come to a close, I am feeling a little motivated to try some games I have just sitting in my steam Library that I haven't touched yet. Yeah, about a year ago I set out to go through my Steam Library, but then I got my headache and haven't been able to play anything until recently. I did buy a couple games at the steam sale, but pretty much only if it was like $3 or less and I knew I'd play it in the immediate future. I love indie games, so the steam sales are always a nice time for me to stock up on those. By the way, Backloggery.com is a great way to keep track of your game library, what you've played and what you haven't, etc. I was recommended it by a friend and though I haven't used it as much, I'm getting back into it again now that I'm able to play games again. It's really helpful to keep track of digital games since you can't always easily "see" what you have in the same way that you can look on your shelf and say, "Oh, I should probably play Batman Arkham City before I play Knight" kinda thing.

Halo 5 and Gears of War 4 have me pretty hyped! Hololens looks pretty amazing. Starwars Battlefront III looked so good!

I felt a tremor in the force, like someone was bashing the video game thread in a galaxy far far away...so I am compelled to bring balance to the thread.
Starcraft 2 is awesome, the third part to that game comes out soon. By far the best strategy game campaign ever in my opinion.

the evolution of my life as a gamer haha. SNES, PS, PS2, PC, PC and Wii. i used to play all kinds of different games. mostly car games. like gran turismo and Need For Speed Underground, i also had games like atv off road fury haha. those were the days. when i got into the pc relm i was playing a lot of console rpg's. so much fun. then i for into some adventure games. then into FPS at LAN Cafe's. that was fun. then i got my first gaming computer. ASUS G72GX laptop. ( im actually using it right now) and started playing COD and Battlefield at home rather than the Cafe i love portal. ill still bring that up every now and then. and beat the game in a single sitting. and i can spend hours playing bejeweled 2. like hours!. never got into counter strike. i tried. but the mod servers were just too crazy lol. i got banned from COD MW2 for having a mod that changed my badge and rank. but i still leveled up my weapons the same. but it still thought i was cheating so ya. that account is banned from MW2 tear... i have MW3 as well but never modded it. so i would not have that happen again. have not logged in in over a year though. sadly. still play portal and bejeweled though. =)
