Hurt my neck driving today...see, it's hard to turn my neck from side to side when pulling out onto a road; i have to hold the brake down, keep my hand in steering device while twisting my fuckin neck from left to right. Now it's sore n painful...I tell ya, it's always something stupid when you're a quad. On the upside, i cn't wait to play music with my young guitar player. He loves old classic rock, and we're going to knock out Foxy Lady, Born to be Wild, Message in a Bottle, Refugee and Sweet Emotion.
I don't know about other quads, but i have food delivered often...

So, I went to ER Saturday night bcoz this UTI just wasn't going away after 3-4 weeks. Believe me, I have to be bad off to do this, I hate everything about the hospital, but i was desperate. I ran into my old friend who works in there, and she took personal interest in my case. The physician wanted to keep me for a few days, but i couldn't see sitting in fuckin freezing hospital for two days. They gave me an IV of meds, CAT scan for possible stone and wrote me new script. I was never more happy than to get the fuck out of there, and started feeling better immediately. I needed that IV and new script...I'm a stubborn bitch, but I've learned to be that way over the years.
Now, repairing my van AGAIN! I get tired of shit breaking down, including my body.

Let's talk sex n love! I have a few girls that i communicate often, each one is different in relationship. Both I've known for years, and younger. One is much more sexual than the other, but it doesn't diminish the quality of my friendship with the other. This morning me and the sexual one had very naughty hot sex purely through messaging on fb, eventually her masturbating as i talked her through it. It doesn't take her very long to cum once she starts really going, but it's the build up that is so intense. We've been doing this for many years now, and it's never gotten old. Sometimes it's phone, or skype, but it's just the chemistry that is so RIGHT. I vicariously feel it through her, and it gives my mind the endorphin rush it needs, and honestly, it gives me an incredible lift, just like a fuckin drug. I've had the same feeling in person with girls, but long distance is so easy, no extra pressure. The other girl is close to me in a completely different manner, more of an emotional need of someone who loves you, cares constantly, checks on you, needs your words. Both relationships i love in my life!

Wow, i ran across this guy on Twitter....interesting bcoz i've often wondered about how i'd put together a video; i could never figure out how you'd feature the artist in a chair. This guy did it, and while the video somewhat boring, i kinda like the guy's voice, and he's a quad.

Great vibes Tony. The girl with the tambourine was clearly enjoying herself.

yahhh, it was a great crowd, very responsive, and the girl, Jessica, is the host of open mic...I've known her a few years; very nice girl and talented player.

I know i've written about it before, but being a quad at my particular level of functioning is one fucked up, frustrating life. Nothing ever goes smoothly, and constant struggle and figuring out shit is stressful as hell. It's like fighting, then calming down, then fighting again, then calm, and the cycle continues. Even things like playin music the other night comes with irritating obstacles. Sometimes i get very fatigued for no good reason that i can figure out. Well, it could've been the bourbon n Cokes, or my spasm pill, or maybe i just get worn out talking with people, not sure. I don't usually fatigue like that when we practice, but i could almost immediately feel it as soon as we started playing, and it kills me bcoz i can sing much stronger, but u give me 3-4 songs, and i was dead. Actually, it never wore off...driving home was very difficult, having a hard time keeping my head up.
I'm curious, do other quads get this? Really drives me nuts, like most shit in this life, but this fatigue especially.

Yes it happens to me as well. I'm ok when I'm at home but as soon as I'm doing something outside fatigue hits me. Whether it is the fresh air, adrenaline, excitement or stress I don't know. The life of a quad is never dull!

Do you drive a van, Raas? Driving is not easy for me, takes a lot out of me, especially bumpy roads.

No I can't drive, my balance just isn't good enough or strength in arms. I find it hard enough being a passenger on long journeys sometimes.

Yah, well when i was younger I drove my ass off, but I find it harder on me now. it's always been physical, but my neck doesn't seem to be as strong, and my van isn't as dependable anymore.

Once you hit the 25+ years in a chair as a quad life certainly finds a way of trying to slow you down.
