I've always had the feeling that the capability to orgasm has mostly to do with how much you're in touch with your own body and not so much with what the guy's doing. I totally agree! You have to love yourself first, before anyone else can love you, and that goes for sex too, haha. My sex life got WAY better when I learned how to tactfully instruct my partner on what I wanted. What really matters to me in a guy is the ability to listen and be responsive, not to be either so insecure any comment from me sends him into a tailspin, or so hung up on whatever "surefire technique" he learned from talking to his buddies or watching porn that he won't knock it off when it's clearly not working. What's definitely unique about the devorgasm: I can have it without 'doing' anything at all. Wow, that's pretty awesome, I certainly can't do that. However, a long time ago we were discussing that weird sensation in the pit of your stomach when you see an attractive disabled guy, or think devo thoughts. I was so surprised that many other women said they feel it too. We never did come up with a good name for it, though. I'd like to think of that as a "devorgasm" although it is different from an actual orgasm. Oh and welcome back Cake, I'm so glad you've come back! |

I can orgasm within a minute on my own (without You Tube but still thinking Dev thoughts).
If I'm watching my wheeler on webcam I'm doing times tables in my head to try to draw it out. Even after I cum I can keep going a few times just watching him. If I actually sat on him I think the time/space contiuum may implode.
AB guys have NEVER had an effect like that. Some have turned me on but no one ever closed the deal and no matter how hard you try to imagine your fantasy the 16 stone bloke grunting and thrusting at you is a little ditracting.

Yes, of course we are all different people and experience sex differently. I'm always more amazed by the similarities despite all our considerable differences. All devs are welcome here, no matter how you calculate your "percentage." It's an interesting discussion, but let's not get hung up on yet another label.

I had my first full-fledged 'O' with a wheeler, when I was in my early 20's. Prior to that I did enjoy sex with AB guys and got nice feelings, but no rockets exploding. I can be orgasmic with AB guys, without dev thoughts, but it is no where near as intense (or multiple).
Again, as Devogirl and Cake have so brilliantly said: It has to do more with how 'in touch' you are with your own body and desires. It also has to do with the level of trust and comfort I have felt with a particular partner.
Annabelle, I think we have probably danced around the 'preference' topic a few times on the board. Some of us might be uncomfortable to answer for fear of hurting feelings of some of the guys, but I will be honest and say that I am most comfortable with a para or low/independent quad. Other disabilities are not deal breakers, though. It is only b/c I am more familiar with that type of disability and to be quite honest, a degree of independence is important to me b/c I do not have the ability to offer too much in the way of assistance. Ultimately it all hinges on overall chemistry, personality and values.

If I had to make a choice i'd probably say quad but that's not exclusive. I have had dev reactions/thoughts about a wide range of guys with differing levels of disability. I agree with BA in that it has more to do with chemistry and the individual guy.

I had orgasms with AB guys but they are sweeter, better und much more intense with dev thoughts. and self-satisfaction is always devo driven - just like blueeyes said. btw, I haven´t expect such a topid here and I´m so glad that I joined "THE CLUB" Thank you, ladies
