I just took a little trip down the YouTube memory lane after seeing the teaser trailer for the new Avatar sequel, and I stumbled across this. Apparently it's the alternative opening to the original film that never made the cut, and man... I'm pretty sure my teenage dev heart would've exploded if I'd seen this in the theaters. I feel like I just stumbled upon some lost dev lore, haha. How'd I ever miss it? Sweet sweet baby Jesus in a manger….. omg…. Damn I wish that was the beginning!! But yea how have none of us found that before! lol. I love him. also didn’t know there was a sequel coming!

If they would have just made a movie out of the beginning of this. I liked Avatar but I always wanted to see him in his world and not so much the "other world" with the blue creatures. This is an awesome alternative beginning.
And yes, I am also wondering about "Morbius". I saw the trailers and I thought about going to see it just for the character but I don't want to be disappointed.

We're obsessed with Avatar at my house. My daughter loves it!
Has anybody seen Adam featuring Aaron Paul? It's based on a true story. It's pretty good. I've had a little thing for Aaron Paul ever since Breaking Bad (shout out to RJ Mittee in that one).

I will check that one out It's on Prime but you have to pay to rent it. It's worth the watch, though.

I too love Aaron Paul!

Alright- I got wise to Morbius from the post here and watching the trailer. Jared Leto is delish (I have enjoyed looking at him since Urban Legend), but I haven't actually seen "Morbin' Time." Has anyone watched it? How much time is he actually a PWD? Does he go back and forth from AB to PWD? As in if I do watch it and it is the festering turd pile Rotten Tomatoes says, can I switch it off after and not miss any solid dev scenes? Also, I read that Jared Leto used crutches to get around set to get in character and would take 45 minute bathroom breaks to hobble there. I can appreciate his commitment to the role as the changing dynamic of the character wouldn't have allowed an actual PWD to play the part. But the director and team did not, so they ended up persuading him to use a wheelchair. Link to the story: variety.com/2022/film/news/jared-leto-wheelchair-morbius-bathroom-breaks-1235224417/

Jake Sully played by Sam Worthington is one of my favorites in movies. since I heard that there will be a 2nd Avatar movie, I hoped to see Sam Wothington back in a wheelchair again. And even though this scene might not have made it in the movie, I love it. I will think of it when I watch Avatar 2 in the movie theater.

I watched Cyrano recently, which wasn't really my thing since it's a musical that seems like it's geared toward the PG-13 age, but the previews made it look super devvy so I gave it a shot. Ungratifyingly, even though the director is the lead actor's wife, there were few shots depicting him in a romantic setting with the leading actress, and most of them were shot so that his height wasn't evident, like from the sitting the down position or filming the two actors in separate frames. Anyone else see it? No, haven’t seen yet but that’s disappointing. Love him.

If they would have just made a movie out of the beginning of this. YESSSSS!!! I would watch the crap out of that. There aren't enough good movies with main character wheelers in real life situations...they always have to ruin it somehow.

For those with access to German TV. I just found out that „Kommissar Caïn“ is on SuperRTL on Friday nights up till September at least. I directly programmed my tv to record it ☺️ I’ve never watched it actually, never knew this show existed.
