I just heard that David Crosby passed away, so I'm listening to one of his classic folk rock songs from the late 60s, in memoriam. Metal probably wouldn't exist had it not indirectly evolved from classic rock; but that's just my opinion as a self-avowed metalhead.

This is the latest song by The Smashing Pumpkins I've been hearing on an alt rock IHeartRadio station all the way in San Diego, since that music genre is pretty much dead in the Albany Capital Region of upstate New York, lol.

Late '90s early '00s instrumentals are my recent go-to if I need to relax for a while.

Both of these are excellent. Boards Of Canada I could certainly get into. I think I may be falling into a rabbit-hole here but I like it. Some more from Mr. Scruff. And some Aphex Twin

so i’ve been avoiding this thread bc pop music is my life and i know i’ll probably be in here too often now. but im always on the hunt for fellow pop heads to chat with so i figured i’d share the sorta indie pop track that ive had on repeat this week. but if anyone likes anything pop music — from like dance to indie to bubblegum even — we should probably be friends or something

I love SOPHIE, I was so sad when she died. I don't really listen to any of the artists you mentioned other than charli, I mainly listen to 100 Geks and Caroline Polacheck (whose one of my favorite artists of all time), sometimes FKA Twigs. Checking COBRAH out right now and I really like it, don't know I never listened before. I found this really cheeky song that Lukas Cruikshank made that's kind of a perfect Hyperpop song called Pomeranians.
