KingRichard YEEESSSSS! I was completely obsessed with this movie when I was a kid, pretty much had it memorized. The whole section on the cruise ship with Ruby Rhod and the Diva was A+

Blue October will do a live stream concert on July 25th. Tickets are available beginning at 25$. I’m in the process of finding out if it’s like a US-only thing or if the stream will be available globally (maybe its a stupid question but I guess it’s better to ask in advance instead of being disappointed afterwards...) So for those who’d be interested: getbackup.tv/programs/full_band_livestreamI love Blue October! They're playing in Columbus in October (what a coincidence) and I just got a ticket for $33. I think they're being overly optimistic the show will happen but I'll get a refund if it's canceled. Of course a live show with actually being there is way better than a stream concert. I hope for you that it’s going to happen! And btw, ppl on Instagram said the stream will be available globally. So, I’m in.

The song I'm posting is a somber, much mellower one by the rock band Red, and quite a heart-wrenching tear jerker. It's basically about somebody feeling broken after having gone through a horrible tragedy, and that person is seeking someone to put him/her back together again. I can relate since there are times in my life where I've felt discouraged and nearly suicidal on account of my DMD. Thankfully, I have a wonderful family support system, good friends (albeit a rather small friend circle), and PD to put me back together and keep me away from the negative darkness.

There was a nice, warm breeze outside today in my backyard while I hung out with my younger brother. It almost felt like being at the beach, so that's why I'm posting this tune.

It's too hot to be outside here in the Albany area, so in my air-conditioned room I decided to listen to some Post Malone. I'm taking a break from the usual rock/metal I prefer listening to.

But of course it’s no way comparable to having a show with actual audience and being there. The band did a great job but I felt so bad for them that nothing happened after the end of a song. No applause, since no one was there. So the end of one song directly translated into the next song basically. They did 2 hours straight through. No pause. Speaking of which, since just a couple of hours before the show, I became a huge fan of their song “King”.

Newb here. I've been perusing the last few months of this thread and I feel like I know some of you quite well already. You may have had some "liked post" spam. Apologies to myrrh in particular for your excellent selections! Here's a bit about me.
