i've been watching an HBO comedy series on my kindle late at night. it's called "Girls", and man, it's funny as hell. Anyone else watch it? It's about these 20something chicks, going to college, constant relationship/sex drama, very explicit. The one girl is funny as hell, and she in a tangled sex fling all the time.

So, I watched AHS's Freak Show and imo it was by far the worst season this far. It was awful. Don't know if I'll watch Hotel any time soon, because I hear it's even worse. (Probably will, though, due to OCD lol)

Kinda behind times on Netflix. Just finished Dexter and love Daredevil. Just started The Blacklist. Adore James Spader. Keep saying I'm going to get into Orange is the new Black but haven't yet. Next maybe. I worked in a max security men's prison for 10 years so my kids keep telling me I need to see. Lol. Compare war stories.

Watching Madam Secretary right now... speaks to my IS roots and my love of politics.... I know it Hollywood it up.. BUT I love how it calls attention to the burden of leadership and the dangerous game that international (and domestic for that matter) politics and world affairs can be...
A favorite scene of mine...
So McCord just used her brother's knowledge to track an American jihadi fighter killing other Americans in propaganda videos via a black market pharma runner... When her brother finds out that the black market pharma got killed by the hellfire that killed the American Jihadi because of the info he gave his sister.. he was pissed... Jump into following conversation..

I love him now as balding, middle-aged man who definitely fills out his amazing clothes in Blacklist. It probably helps that he's exactly my type. As I've aged my preferences have aged as well. James Spader might not have kept his boyish figure (or his hair), but his innate sexiness inhabits every molecule of his being. Then and now. Well you can guess whom I liked in Sex Lies & Videotape. I don't know where she went, I haven't seen her in anything significant since. That movie was probably the 50 shades of my time. |

I just watched a documentary on the history channel about the Arab Cooper plane hijacking. Very. Very interesting stuff. I've always been fascinated about the case. FBI just announced they're no longer actively investigating it. Sounds like the mystery will never be solved!

I had a student write a research paper on DB Cooper and used that documentary as one of her sources. It was very interesting! I think I remember reading somewhat recently that they thought there was a break in the case and they think they figured out the identity. Save |
