I'm nearly done watching the first season of the series Outer Banks. It's a murder mystery having to do with some sort of treasure hunt. I don't know whether or not I like it, so I'll save my commentary till I reach the end of the series, whenever that'll be.

I haven’t watched the show, but I have seen the picture of the show characters standing on an obviously Californian coastline, and I heard that they take a ferry to Chapel Hill at one point. So I doubt I’ll ever watch that shit lol. If they wanted to do NC Outer Banks they should do MAGA trucks and Suburbans from NJ riding on a thin strip of sand lol.

"The End is Nye" on Peacock. It takes worst case scenarios to the extremes. It does a pretty good job though at creating the visual of what a global catastrophe could look like in various scenarios. Something the conservatives aren't trying to hear. 😂

Who's tuning in for the season finale of The Last of Us on HBO tonight? Only 3 hours away. I thought this Series has been really well done. Really engrossing, even with there being countless movies and series about zombies already.

I considered doing that, but essentially didn't have the willpower to stay away for the few months it would take. I greatly prefer to have the option of binging, or at least watching a few episodes back-to-back. Same thing happened with 1923. I think it'll be the same way with season 2 of Yellowjackets. I like it better when they dump all the episodes out there all at once.

I don't really do well with jump scares in general. But I loved the game, so I feel like I'm obligated to watch the show. I just haven't yet so I can binge it once I do.

The emotionally human side of it was so well done.

They were so good at giving you backstory that really helped you understand the motivations for their different actions. Really looking forward to next season. What's up next for you? I've got a couple of favorites ready to drop. I Love the series Succession on HBO. The new season starts in a week or two. And then the second season of Yellowjackets, on Showtime

And then the second season of Yellowjackets, on Showtime Succession is high on my list of shows I've been waiting impatiently for. I am so excited for the new season to start. I'm also looking forward to the new seasons of Yellowjackets, Shadow & Bone, and Ted Lasso as well as finishing Carnival Row, Shrinking, and You. I'm a bit of a TV junkie, and there is a lot of good stuff right now.

I still haven't seen even one episode of Ted lasso, though everybody tells me how good it is. I'll get around to it eventually. I'm a bit of a TV Junkie myself. I am happy to report that I've gotten out of the practice of watching really bad reality TV the last several years. Like Basketball Wives and the Bad Girls Club. Lol haha

I watched season 4 of You and I enjoyed it. Agreed, not as enticing as the first 3 seasons but I think they’re still taking it in creative directions.

I’m SO not a zombie show person, but I’ve heard such amazing things about The Last of Us, especially the ep. with Nick Offerman. I suppose we’ll probably watch it after all (my husband was a big Walking Dead fan, too).
We watched most of the new History of the World, Part II last night on Hulu. Quite funny in places, quite repeated-fart-joke-stupid in places. So: basically a Mel Brooks joint.
Anyone else a fan of the Great Pottery Showdown?
