I'm currently watching the Hindi movie Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway, which is based on the harrowing true story of an Indian (Bengali) couple living in Norway whose children are taken from them by the Norwegian Child Welfare Services on grounds that as parents they were "unfit" to hold custody of their children, after several visits from employees of the national agency. This was evidently part of a grueling process for the Indian family to obtain Norwegian citizenship. The family sues the government of Norway to win back the custody of the kids. Sounds interesting. On Netflix?

The Wutang Clan show (American Saga) on Hulu is really good. I’m watching the second season now as the third season comes out. I like Wu Tang clan and rap music, so the story of this juggernaut coming into existence is really interesting to me. I also think that the film style is unique and innovative, as far as the visual depictions of the musical process and abstract ideas going on inside the characters’ heads. It hits almost like a prestige drama from HBO, but not quite. Really good shit though. The RZA is apparently heavily involved in the show and I feel like it captures the Wutang essence quite well.

The Wutang Clan show (American Saga) on Hulu is really good. Ooh, that sounds awesome. Ted Lasso and Succession are done this week, so we need some new stuff to watch as we wind down in the evening, and this should be really cool. I was grabbing dinner tonight and one of the TVs was showing the 30 for 30 on American Gladiators. 😂 I need to pull that thing up here at home!

I am watching Bones on the Disney Channel. It’s just great to watch it all in one go, instead of on sky, one all the time. I am really getting into at the moment, .

I just finished watching the fourth and final season of Manifest and the first season of Beef on Netflix. Currently, I'm watching the movie Air on Prime Video, which is based on the true story about the origin of the Nike Air Jordan in the '80s when Michael Jordan was a rookie basketball player. In fact, I own a pair of Nike Air Jordans, but not the original '80s vintage style one.

Had no clue netflix picked up Manifest. Watched it on NBC, so annoying when shows get cancelled on cliffhangers. Got a bit religeousy for my tastes but at least if got an ending. Wonder how I'd have been judged, I'd have killed Angelina right away if she'd killed a loved one

Did anyone watch the last episode in the second season of New Amsterdam, which shows a cute 6-year-old boy being diagnosed with DMD by the main protagonist character Dr. Max Goodwin? That was quite an emotional episode for me, because it pretty much hit close to home and reminded me of how painfully difficult it was for my parents first learning about my DMD diagnosis at age 5. I still recall the sad and distraught look on their faces back then, and at the time, I was just a happy and playful kid who had no idea what was to be a life-long struggle with plenty of physical, health, and social challenges. That said, while it hasn't been easy, I'm really proud of the strength, grit, and resilience of my folks in dealing with the ups and downs of this chronic disease and always telling me to never lose hope even in the face of tremendous adversity. My younger brother has also been a great support in this interesting life journey of mine. I was born a fighter and I'm going to keep fighting DMD regardless of what the future holds, no doubt about it. I haven't seen the episode you're talking about, but I just wanted to say it's really awesome that you have such a great attitude. Your story really hit home for me. I don't remember actually being diagnosed, but I know how difficult it must have been for my parents. My older brother had DMD as well. So when they found out he had it, they had me tested and found I had it as well. I can't really imagine how they feel. I lived with my brother for 33 years and he's probably the reason I haven't completely lost my mind. He passed away 2 years ago, but I'll always be thankful for him. Anyway, sorry for rambling. Damn I wanna watch this now. I also lost my older brother to DMD last year. Sorry for your loss bruh.

I just read “The last thing he told me” which is a new Apple series now as well. It’s really good. I liked the book better but it’s a quick watch I’d recommend.

oh, and Strange New Worlds season 2 started! Star trek > Star wars! ;-) I'm so over Strange New Worlds since they killed off the blind guy. Most over-hyped underutilized inclusive casting ever.

I just started the third season of The Witcher, and I really love the way Geralt, played by Henry Cavill, kicks the mythical monsters' asses.

I'm watching The Mule featuring Clint Eastwood and Bradley Cooper. The DEA on one side, the drug cartels on the other, and a financially desperate and highly obstinate mule caught in the middle of it all, is some seriously lethal shit.
