Ayla is the name of the main character in the Earth’s Children novels which are set in prehistoric times. They had a big impact on me when I was younger which is partly why I ended up as an anthropology major in college. The character of Ayla is a stranger in a strange land: she is an orphaned cro-magnon who is raised among Neanderthals but subsequently goes on a journey to find love among her tribe. Though I am not Hawaiian, Hapa is the Hawaiian pidgin word used to describe mixed-race people, and I am half-Asian, half-Scandinavian.

Mine is so bad lol, I was signing up for Discord and I needed a handle and I couldn’t think of anything, and I looked around my room for inspiration and saw my fan and thought “quiet fan” hence QFan 😂 It’s not exactly inspired, but it is original I suppose lol

My name is my artist pseudonym. I basically use the handle on everything. I came up with it through a bit of a "What is your porn star name?" game. You had to use your first pet's name as a first name then the road you grew up on as your last. I really hated the first combo so I went with the road our mailbox and driveway was on, and not the address. Speedy Brinzer sounded funny enough, but I really liked the name Brinzer, and started using it for art. Then when my glamour/fashion photography mentor artistically adopted me I took some of his pseudonym, Deca, some of mine, and my real last name split up. With that Brinzer Sebastian Decalli was born. lol

I just compiled a bunch of my nicknames people have given me through the years. My name is Rebecca an people have called me Rebs, Becks, Beckers. All sorts of fun stuff. And then I was born in 84. Been my “handle” all over the place for years.
