I know this topic has been beat to death before in terms of disabled dating sites, but how about this? For Devs and PWDs, which sites have had the most luck with in terms of finding each other? I think the specifically catering to disabled sites are kind of trash and just filled with bots and hackers, but what about the more traditional ones like OKCupid, Match.com, Tinder, etc? Which is the easiest for devs to find a PWD? Which for PWDs has brought you in contact with the most devs? What are some words of advice to attract a dev out in the dating game wild there?

I don't really get tired of this topic for whatever reason So... Tinder and Bumble - never seen a single PWD on there and I was on Tinder for more than a year, so there would have been plenty of opportunity (not to just hook up with anyone, I feel like I always need to add that, because people make assumptions about it). Some local dating site probably similar to OKCupid or Match.com - never seen a single PWD. Dating sites catering specifically to PWDs - I've looked some of those up out of curiosity at some point in the past, but they seemed a little weird to me from outside. No actual experience though, since I never signed up. PD - not a dating site, I know, but let's see... more than 20 messages within the first two weeks of signing up. Many of those from people on another continent, so not exactly practical. But plenty of cool people and great conversations and so on and so forth, so... Clear winner to me

Alex mate, in exactly 5 days time my last membership on a dating site runs out. That will be 24 years, and trust me I have been on them all. I cannot list them all, because I would need another page! I have spent most of at least 5 to £6000 on subscription fees, up grades, and more hours than it took to write the Bible in writing profiles. And in all those years, I had no dates. Dating sites have got one purpose, and one purpose alone. That is to keep you subscribed for as long as possible! The disabled ones are the worst, honest to God, hand on heart they are the biggest rip-off merchants in the world.

As I mentioned in the Online Roleplay With Devs thread, I like to use ads for my searches. I use ordinary classifieds portals for this.
On many of those portals you pay nothing for your ads and you can place several at the same time. I usually place two ads per portal: one purely erotic and one in which I primarily search for a steady relationship. Whereby the one does not exclude the other. So you double your chances in any case. This would also be an additional alternative to dating sites.

I've just rejoined a dating site, but I'm still going for the whole 1: make a somewhat interesting profile. 2: Strike up a decent conversation 3: reveal my disability My tag-line is my usual. "seeking a friend for the end of the world"
-------------------update-----------------
I've been using an NL based VPN and now I'm in love with the Dutch language and accent.

Such as a dating coach or have professional photos taken? No judgments here my dude, I'm genuinely curious. That's a long time to get zero results.

Must be popular It would be flattering to tell myself that, but I don't think it has much to do with me More with the gender imbalance on PD and how male-female communication works in general (men tend to take the initiative). Quite a few of those early messages included "warnings" about how my inbox would be "flooded" or "explode" with personal messages soon - so I'm assuming it's a very common thing Oh, and it's not like all of those messages had any clear "dating" intentions, not at all! But just from the standpoint of Devs and PWDs connecting, whatever it may lead to...

Facebook dev groups worked the best for me I didn’t even know there were dev groups on FB Same here! In all the years of secretly searching the Internet I've never come across any of those. Are they closed or public groups? I'm sure I never searched anything while logged onto Facebook, becasue I was completely paranoid about anonymity, so that might explain it. Are there more devs on there than here? (I'm always curious about anything relating to our numbers )

PD - not a dating site, I know, but let's see... more than 20 messages within the first two weeks of signing up. Now I am seriously jealous! I don't think I've ever exchanged messages with half of that number, devs included! I'll go now to beat myself up for what I've done wrong!

(I'm always curious about anything relating to our numbers ) I joined one, but it seems to be about: 70% male PWD and devs, 20% spambots, 7% female PWDs and less than 3% female devs. I don't like my odds, lol.
