Hi There! I registered myself almost one month ago but, up to now, I have been reading. I am quite shy. After an entire life, I have discovered that my fantasies and likes have a name: "Devotee." I remember that when I was 7 or 8 , I used to play "roleplay" with my friends where some of them were disabled. At 12, I began to write histories of fantasy where the main character was disable. With the years, the small histories of 3 or 4 pages became novels of 150 or 200 leaves. Now I'm 38 and, 11 years ago I stopped writing (something that is hurting me for a long time!). The work excess and the lack of time took me to leave aside my likes. I have lived for 6 years with my boyfriend, we have a 3 year-old girl. I love my daughter and my couple, but lately I am feeling the necessity to return to my world (at least for some hours a day). I don’t know how the things are in other countries; here, the society, discriminate against disabled people a lot. I really hate that. I was born in Denmark but I live in Argentina since 1975. Well, I believe that it is a quite long introduction

I can't say I'm a writer... I never published anything I wrote. There's no latin blood on my system... but, after so many years here, I'm more latin than scandinavian. I never taught spanish. I have taught english to chines girls who barely spoke spanish... but there finish my experience as a teacher!! (basic english). I've been reading your stories they're really good and emotive I think you're a wonderful "story teller" in Argentina the "Gauchos" use to tell stories using a guitar, this practice is call "Payada" and they are "Payadores"(they use the guitar but they don't sing)
Thank you Wind for telling me that, and you are right about Tony's spanish... he is good!

Yes. I've born in Denmark but came to Argentina at the age of 6. My father was danish, my mother was swedish. All really nordic! LOL My friends here named me "Valkiria". I'm too tall for a woman (6 ft. - 182 cmt) and I have long red-blond hair. Tony told he is from Florida (That is the "Sunny State"?).... And you, where are you from?

Yeah, the Valkyries were minor immortal warriors that served Thor (and Odin) in Valhalla I believe...I'm a little rusty on my Norse mythology (stay away from Loki, I remember that much).
As for where I'm from...currently I've live in the United States as well, in the state of Massachusetts ('The Bay State'), which isn't so sunny as Florida most of the time.

The Valkyries were inmortal warriors that took the mortal warrior who have died in battle to the Valhalla. They only drove there the finest warriors to the great banquet in the paradise where they shared the table with Odin and Thor.... Sorry, I love Mythology. Fubb, so you're from Australia. I never was there but I heard that it's a beautyful country. Wind: Yes, Loki was the dangerous god, he killed his own brother (Odin's son) because of envy. By his hand the Ragnarok was untied (this is the Norse Apocalipsis) Tony: I Arrived home about an hour ago, but I already bookmarked your site. To write is like an escape for me. When I was too overwhelmed I used to write. It was a long time since my last story... let's gonna see what happen.

We (well okay, Tony does most of the sharing) have a place where you can share your writing on the board as well, so feel free to share if you want.
Norse Mythology is one of my favourite, actually, I actually wrote some beginings of this story of a 'Ragnorok-like' event taking place in modern times with a private vendetta going on between Odin and Loki, through which Odin is really running a corporation, called the Wednesday Corporation in which he hires mercenaries for the war...not quite true to the mythology...
