Anybody been playing the new Metroid? Metroid Dread? I just got it two days ago, I've already logged like 10 hrs and can't stop playing. I've always been a fan of metroidvanias, but never actually played through a full Metroid game, and this one is the bees knees.

At the moment, I play Dota 2 and Halo MCC. I've been playing Halo Infinite Preview flights for a while. Can't wait for the whole thing to release. I hope 343 won't disappoint, fingers crossed.

Been playing HOI4 (Hearts of Iron 4) lately... fucking frustrated with that game. Had potential but the ground combat mechanics of infantry is so counterintuitive and different than anything I know.. AND MAKES NO GOD DAMN SENSE.. that I'm finally giving up on it.

Keep supply up, if you run low in area pull some infantry divisions back, then ram a few armored divisions through a weaker part of their line once your organization recovers. Once through keep going and try to encircle. I'm trying to take Africa where supply is hell, so I'm just manually controlling 3 mech divisions to cause chaos and infantry when I need to stabilize the line.

Which is why I find HOI4 to be their worst game. I'm more of a Crusader Kings person. CK3 is great.

I started playing the new God of War game and I am a little blown away by the accessibility options, it's quite a robust list. They have accessibility settings for people with issues with motor control (like me) people who are hard of hearing or deaf, people who have visual impairments/disabilities, they also have settings for people with motion sensitivities. I wish they could do this for all triple A games, It would definitely have been super helpful when I was playing some games in the past. Here's a link if you want to see all the settings they included. www.playstation.com/en-us/games/god-of-war-ragnarok/accessibility/

I've been playing a political game called Suzerain that I HIGHLY recommend. You play as the new president of a small fictional country in a fictional region, with an incredibly tumultuous history of revolutions and horrible leadership. Its clearly very heavily inspired by the political history of eastern European countries. When you take over, its a highly authoritarian country with a somewhat planned economy and a strong political movement that wants to democratize the political structure and privatize the economy. The game plays somewhat like a visual novel mixed with an RPG. It is mostly just talking to your cabinet, advisors, family, etc. The game constantly both praises you and dunks on you for your own personal politics. Its the best political game ever made.

I used to game a lot more before. I was really into League of Legends and civ. Nowadays I tend to play more casual games like animal crossing, story of seasons, and Stardew valley; with some fall guys thrown in 😊
