If I could identify exactly what I found attractive, I would change it, because I recognize it's outside of the norm. I have asked myself over and over, "why this attraction?"
I have no idea.

Why do some people prefer a certain hair/eye color? I've wasted a lot time trying to decipher something that I can't really explain. Like many have previously stated, it's a combination of things. Men (in general) are seen as strong beings. I like the contrast, the strength and confidence warring with the vulnerability. I don't care how someone is packaged, as long as we can connect. Meaning I'm not going to be with a disabled guy simply because he is. I'm into lower SCI, but that doesn't matter as much to me as whether or not the person has some independence. I spend my days helping people, and while I don't mind little things here or there, I can't be a full-time caretaker. Of course like everything else in life, things change, but, as of now, that's why I like what I like.

What is it for some of you that makes you attracted to paras and quads only, while others who are primarily into SCI can also find guys with other disabilities that somewhat mimic the limitations of a para or quad attractive as well? What makes me attracted to male paras is their incredible sexiness. Complete paraplegics are just beautiful people, I think. Men AND women. But I happen to be heterosexual.

Yes!. Although... maybe there's one little thing (in my personal case). Besides the sexiness and although this might sound weird... I also feel very attracted to them because of their (sometimes) very particular humour and their positive attitude. As I said... maybe it has only something to do with my personal experience but my first love happened to be a complete para. After a while of being together though... it was strange to notice that I haven't paid so much attention to the dev part. I was just delighted by the person himself :-)
