Attraction is a funny thing. We can find ourselves falling head over wheels for someone due to certain aspects of their personality.
But of course, we are a fickle people, and it's just as easy, if not easier, to find things about people that rub you up the wrong way.
I for example, find myself attracted to girls who are a little kooky, or endearingly eccentric. When it's natural, those eccentricities can prove to be a beautiful and captivating aspect of the girl in question.
But one thing that really rubs me up the wrong way is those who appear to try too hard to appear unusual and begin to declare themselves as being 'so random' and the like.
To use that as an excuse to say and do nonsensical things to try and appear cute and quirky just turns me off, the best things are natural after all.
Being phony just to impress someone and attempt to be on their level is pathetic and quite insulting not only to me, but to whoever's kidding themselves.
Sorry, I went of on a tangent there.
So, guys and girls, what about someone's personality can put you off them?

We can find ourselves falling head over wheels for someone due to certain aspects of their personality. This only happens to me if I get really, really drunk.

I strongly dislike know-it-alls and one-uppers. Someone who can't laugh at themselves too. I like laid back people who enjoy conversation...can admit when they're wrong...and doesn't mind getting teased a little.

I seriously hate know it alls that don't put themselves in others shoes. I also hate when someone CONSTANTLY complains. Arrogance is also such a turn off. I love some confidence but some people take it to the next level.

Lying. Even if its about small, inconsequential things. But one thing that really rubs me up the wrong way is those who appear to try too hard to appear unusual and begin to declare themselves as being 'so random' and the like. This drives me crazy too but I think for different reasons. A little spontaneity can be good but for some people thats their entire personality...

Girls who talk bad about their friends. It's okay once in a while when they screw you over or something serious happens, but it seems like many girls have no problem talking $hit about their friends to people they hardly know.

Hate when guys hock big loogies right in front of you and bad hygiene.

I like someone who can sit in a room and fart with me and embrace the smell. I also dislike females who talk bad about their friends.

Someone who is constantly repeating song hooks/lines from tv shows/comedy punchlines just for the sake of making noise
Also making jokes at the expense of others, also for the sake of just making noise
Someone who is so insecure they routinely talk themselves up (at the expense of others, or not) and fish for compliments/talk about how much others compliment them
Someone who talks over me/speaks for me

I love me a triple dose of confidence in a man. But cockiness? Um. Think I'll pass 1. The braggart: "This is why you think I'm the greatest..." 2. The unwanted advisor: "I'm the Dr. Phil of know-it-alls. On steroids." 3. The inflated grapes and a tiny banana: "I can dish it out but can't take it like a man." Yikes. I gotta lay off of the energy drinks...

I have a BS meter programmed inside of me somewhere. I can smell it from a mile away. That's my biggest peeve. I am as bluntly honest as they come and I am up front in requesting the same. The brutal truth always trumps a lengthy lie.

And these are the reasons I'm single.
1. I'm completely full of shit. 2. I'm a terrible know-it-all. But in my defense, I really do know everything. 3. Is it arrogance if you're truly awesome? I piss excellence. 4. My entire personality is based off of shitty 80's sitcoms. 5. I complain constantly. But the world really is out to get me. 6. I can't take criticism. I'll lash out violently and then cry. 7. I have no sense of humor. At all.

Too much sarcasm.
Prudes, the have to like a certain amount of vulgarity. I cuss a lot lol.
Being a pushover, I try to dominate things. I need someone to stop me.
Overly emotional, at least ease me into it don't go wacky right off the bat.
