Haha sungod I love the detailed breakdown. Though I'm having a little bit of an identity crisis now and not sure what I am lol. I think I have a little bit of all 3 (nerd, geek, dork) Nerd: I studied math/stats. My job involves statistics/data analysis and a good amount of programming. I'm incredibly curious about things and am constantly researching how things work and why they are the way that they are, etc. Which is one reason I love statistics. Geek: I love sci-fi, Marvel, and old school Nintendo (NES, SNES, N64). I enjoy going to barcades, trivia, internet stuff (memes, etc), and board games are my favorite. Big time fan of shows and TV, constantly quote and relate everything to shows, maybe at an unhealthy level lol Dork: I am outgoing and socially apt but I am goofy AF too. I joke around a lot and am easily amused. I am quirky and unconventional, but approachable and friendly. Normal people make me feel weird lol All of these things are basically my favorite too and I continue to think you are THE coolest. Whenever we someday meet when you visit here, I’m totally taking you to the “secret” barcade that’s hidden behind a grilled cheese restaurant. We’re nerd out about social policy and be goofballs and it’ll be super.

Math is actually the sexiest thing possible. ...Sorry, guys. Being that I suck at math, I must look like an unwashed, heathen cur to you...

Being that I suck at math, I must look like an unwashed, heathen cur to you... Nobody's perfect. Just scrub behind those ears and we'll be ok. I mean, I'm from the city that brought you mayo and seaweed hotdogs, which is something you take very seriously iirc. I like mayo. I also like seaweed. I don't think I'd consider them on a hotdog, but then again, I'm open to try new things. As long as it's not ketchup, we're good Also, my ears are squeaky clean, didn't know that was a thing of yours. Are you perhaps part Ferengi?

It does if you know all the latin names for plants. As I mentioned in my other post, I'm a BIG music geek. There have been many bands and artists I've loved over the years but none have ever come close to Queen, a band with a special place in my heart and the first I really liked from a very young age. And I'm a sucker for music Biopics too. So imagine my excitement when THIS finally hit: Just a teaser trailer I know but I was ecstatic all the same. And I can't help but laugh(not maliciously though as I can understand the confusion) at the people who thought that Freddie was singing his improv from Live Aid at the start of the trailer when it was clearly tribute act Marc Martel. The cleaner sound and the slight difference in the length of the notes sustained compared to the original footage would've tipped 'em off. Yep, I'm also a fair bit of a snob too. I can hold up my hands (with my little finger stuck out) and admit that.

Now that you mention it, my first online handle ever was Ferengi back on the Disney website in elementary school. I don't like where this is headed, though, given the state of ferengi feeemales and their lack of legal garments. What kind of scheme are you trying to pull? You could be one of the several dissident females they encountered in DS9. Quork's mother was one, and then there was this one Ferengi who disguised as a male to have a business career. She was getting sent to try to trade with the Dominion, before they realized just how unfriendly the Dominion really was.

I would have said I'm as far from geeky as you can get but this has got me thinking maybe I am a geek after all. I spend a lot of time on YouTube watching British sitcom and drama from the 60s/70s and maybe 80s. Probably not enough to qualify on it's own. R.

I'd say I'm pretty geeky. I love sci-fi and shit though for some reason I've never gotten into Star Trek... I'm a HUGE video game geek though. I spend an embarrassing amount of time playing games. My PS4 is almost an extension of myself at this point. what do you play?

It depends how deep your interest is I suppose in regards to how 'geeky' you are but given as you've clearly made an effort by going through decades, I'd say that you are a geek. And is that a bad thing? Not in my eyes. So, what've you been watching?

So, what've you been watching? 'Til death us do part Bless this house Love thy neighbour Mind your language Man about the house Thinking about it none of it very PC these days. I like a 'real life' Carry On, for example Cabbie or Camping rather than Up The Kybher or Cleo. I also like a 70s police drama like The Sweeney or The Professionals. I think a lot of it is about the clothes, cars, houses and lost British values. R.

Nice list. Yes a lot of it does clash with society today but a lot of it was making fun of the bigotry itself, rather than making fun of who it was aimed towards. It's a shame a lot of it was taken at face value. Take Love Thy Neighbour for instance. Infamous for it's casual use of slurs and racial tension. What people seem to forget is this: Both male leads were bigoted towards each other, the media would have you believe it was Eddie (white) picking on Bill (black) all the time. Another thing is this: Whilst Eddie and Bill were at constant odds with each other, their wives were often the voice of reason and firm friends themselves. But no, negative press and infamy preserves better.

You guys have a lot of geek cred!
I just like pop culture from my impressionable years (80's-90's) and ancient history. And time travel stuff. Shipwrecks too. Neil Gaiman is my favorite author. I like making fractal artwork in Illustrator. Piccard over Kirk. Oh, and I'm currently wearing my Dharma Initiative t-shirt. Holy shit!! I think that I'm one of you!
