Oh wow, uhh... That's a big question. The short answer is... everything. Recently I've been trying to get through the new God of War on the hardest difficulty (it's no joke). I've been playing through Bloodborne again as well, I'm madly in love with the atmosphere in that game. I also play a lot of Rocket League.

You guys have a lot of geek cred! I just like pop culture from my impressionable years (80's-90's) and ancient history. And time travel stuff. Shipwrecks too. Neil Gaiman is my favorite author. I like making fractal artwork in Illustrator. Piccard over Kirk. Oh, and I'm currently wearing my Dharma Initiative t-shirt. Holy shit!! I think that I'm one of you! One of us! One of us! Gooble-gobble, gooble-gobble one of us! One of us! - Freaks (1932)Here's something else while I'm here, I'm a TV Tropes addict and proud of it.

I've been watching TNG and DS9 lately and am on a fresh, sustained Trekkie high. Sadly though, my enjoyment of the vidya games has tanked and I haven't really found myself playing as much as I used to. The occasional match of StarCraft or Rocket League with my beau in the evenings is what I've been reduced to. Have any of you watched Lexx? It's a German-Canadian SciFi series from the early 2000's (I believe) and it's nearing the event horizon of cheese, but oh man is it fun. The "first season" is a miniseries of 4 movies that just perfectly nails the grandiose goth space opera feel. A+ would recommend. LOVE both those series of the Trek... DS9 eeks out as my favorite thought. Been on a SC binge lately... playing Into the Void right now. I think I might have played it when hopped up on pain killers initial post injury when I was force laid up for 6 months straight... but I don't remember any of it... UNTIL I thought Alaraks voice sounded familiar... sure enough.... Q (John de Lancie) from TNG.. then I remembered having that same moment through the haze of pain drugs... Still.. for the most part, feels like a first time play through.

Think I border on the geek / nerd area.... always loved sciences and math... took chem in college even though I was an international studies major (as my science). Taught Chemistry for a summer in Africa on a teaching mission...
Love most sci fi's.. favorites include Star Trek.. up until Beyond... Saw a couple episodes of Discovery... BUT I think it's trash that NBC is trying to charge to view it... is there anything less Trekkie than that? Battlestar Galactica.. obviously since I grew up in the 80s... Star Wars.... new loves would be Black Mirror, Altered Carbon, Expanse... HAS ANYONE WATCHED the nat geo series documentary called Year One Million??
Been a Hobbit and LOR fan since reading the books when I was young... Does anyone remember the old school cartoon movie... loved the D&D cartoon series when I was a kid.. played D&D.. Played Magic the Gathering.. won tournaments.. rented space at a local card shop to sell Magic and Sports cards... Loved Harry Potter (House Slytherin).
As far as video games.. always been a fan of RTS games.. War Craft and Command and Conquer got me started.. could never get into WOW... Starcraft is obviously one of my all time favorites.. Grew up on the Final Fantasy Series... Favorites would have to be FF II (since it was the first I played as a kid), FF III (VI in Japan), FFIX, and FFX.... I know.. travesty that VII isn't on that list.. but we never had a playstation... and by the time I had the opportunity to play it... graphics were out of date.. and the overwhelming popularity of it... vs old school fans... and what I fell in love with.. kept me away. Zelda series, Fallout series, Assassin's Creed series, Secret of Mana, Chono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Mass Effect series, Gears of War series, 007 Golden Eye, Smash Bro. Series.. .. honorable mention to Diablo Series... MOST zombie games... and Fable..
Was a fan of Anime high school and early college.. Ninja Scroll, Princess Monoke, Ghost in the Shell, Spirited Away were the main ones I remember loving..
Love certain periods in history... so love Last of the Mohicans (French and Indian War)... Red Cliff would be one of my favorites since it tells the story of my favorite period in Chinese History... the 3 kingdoms. TV shows that retell and embellish history a little tend to be my favorite.. starting with ROME... look it up.. it started EVERYTHING! Before there was Game of Thrones.. there was Rome. Tudors... is a great show.. Documentaries and shows about the Medici family... Loved the series about the Borgias. Nat Geo is doing an amazing series called Genius... first season about Albert Einstein was AMAZING!
Allright... been going on way too long.. obviously I love this topic... and sharing with my fellow geeks, nerds, and dorks.

Damn I really am a nerd... laur you totally get me.. I think it is you that is the coolest . That seriously sounds like the perfect day lol myrrh I absolutely agree math is sexy AF. I've had the weirdest crushes on people that could really only be explained by the fact that they were incredibly good at math, or we did math homework together, etc haha

Still.. for the most part, feels like a first time play through. Is that SC2? I played the hellll out of Brood Wars but never really got into SC2 because it came out at a time when I wasn't really playing much. Did anyone play HotS? I remember having a ton of fun playing Zeratul on the beta, but mobas make my head spin... Except for one that is now dead, RIP Awesomenauts. The text notification sound on my phone has been SC unit speech for a decade now. But since I use a few different text platforms, I have several notification sounds: the SC Terran computer, the DS9 doorbell, and the Rosinante radar sound from The Expanse. Oh, the phone call has always always been the acoustic LoZ:WW theme because the fiddle is so sweet. Yeah... it's SCII after brood wars.. where each race has their own story arch to taking out the dark xel naga usurper... Wings of Liberty was Terran... then Heart of the Swarm was Zerg... where Kerrigan becomes MORE of a bad ass.. as if that was possible... Then Into the Void... the Protoss arch. You talked about HOTS... it's all under the auspice of starcraft II.. Zeratul was also my favorite... Mystic bad ass... Only matched by Kerrigan.. NOT really too impressed with any of the Protoss Heroes so far. Gonna have to steal your idea and integrate more of my nerd dome into my cell phone usage... only have the lightsaber noise for text messages.

Oh yeah matisse I am definitely sapiosexual. No doubt about that haha. I'm attracted to all kinds of intelligence, but for whatever reason when someone is good at math or comp sci it REALLY gets me going haha. But obviously it is not exclusive to that (I've definitely dated plenty of guys that are not great with math lol). And my attraction to intelligence is not only in an "academic" sense. For example I had a long relationship with a guy who didn't go to college, he was a sort of Jack of all trades handy man type dude. He flipped houses, was really good with mechanical stuff (fixing cars, etc), loved to work with his hands. I found that spatial intelligence and natural ability incredibly sexy. (I've also dated guys who have no ability in this department lol) There have been times my attraction to math ability has been ridiculous though lol. Like this professor who was waaaay too old, not what anyone would really describe as attractive lol, no sense of style, we were on opposite ends of the political spectrum, etc, (I told like 2 people about this crush and they all looked at me like I was fucking insane lol)... But he was funny as fuck AND ridiculous math genius. I had the weirdest crush on him to the point of sex dreams. (Don't worry nothing happened IRL lol) Humor is huge for me too. So that definitely added to it lol
