wow guys .. and gals .. thanks for the sentiments and the warm welcome.. encouraged to write/share more... as you all might know.. a para's life is a rich one.. any suggestions? OK, Shynight you asked. You say that a para's life is a rich one - would you say being a para has enriched your life and if so, in what way? I assume you weren't born a para. If you don't want to answer that's cool... nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? Actually .. I was born a para.. Accident during birth.. And in what ways? i know it sounds lame, but in almost everything.. examples: patience .. all the disables are going "Duh!" :-P Appreciation of finer things.. things that do matter.. in people specially.. Acceptance .. once u know .. this is ur fate.. u accept urself.. a lot of ABs dont have even THAT.. Charisma.. although i am shy to strangers.. i find that people can easily approach me .. THANK GOD! else i would have lived my life as a hermit.. Ambition.. no one we need to impress.. or the opposite.. must prove something.. I can do it all .. mine is the latter unfortunately.. so we 'paras' pull up our sleeves and show u what we got.. I could go on.. but for some reason i think my list will only get more and more lame.. I can add one more thing though for you Doe .. its not a matter of being able to do something or not to.. its a matter of the HOW.. when u constantly are thinking how to live ur day to day life.. obstacle-free.. it makes ur brain work.. i am not claiming wheelies are smarter than anyone .. but i personally can say i'm better well-read.. also because of it ;-)

It is true. Some women that are attracted to disabled men have a range of feelings and sensations that I have tried to explain countless times with no success. I sometimes get so wrapped up in just the mere thought of having a quad or a para be interested in me that I do not think clearly. I have yet to find a disabled man that was actually attracted to me. I don't mean just physically....I mean someone that is truly interested in me. I have practically been deduced to begging and still no luck. Sometimes I truly wish I did not have this attraction at all. I have tried to build a relationship with someone but he eventually just went away. No real explanation, just stopped talking to me. I am not the most beautiful person in the world....but I am sexy and I do know exactly what I want. I have had zero response for the long term and do not expect to hear from him ever again.
