I don't think I have an exact preference. I bore easily and for me every fantasy is different. But when I was really young like before 10 it didn't matter at all. A kid on crutches would do it. During adolescents I started to focus on para's and amps I would see on TV. Only recently or I guess since I found PD have a started to focus on quads more and more. But everything I have liked in the past pop in for a pleasant visit every once in awhile.

The first disability I noticed (in that way) was on an episode of Fame on TV in the 80s. One of the guest characters was, I think, an incomplete para.
Outside of the wheeler realm, I particularly like arm amps and men who use crutches/braces.
And welcome cuchyswiss!

I am new here but I think I posted my intro in the wrong place and it got mixed in with another topic. Anyway I just came across the site although I have been part of the online female dev community for years. I figured I'd introduce myself. Anyway I'm a little different than the rest of you because I'm an amputee devotee. I guess I didn't realize there were that many women out there who were into paras!

Welcome to the board! Yes, most women here like wheeler guys, but the board is really open to any devotee. Please don't feel out of place. A lot of us have wide-ranging preferences, and it's not uncommon for preferences to change over time. Jump right in and don't be afraid to post things relating to amputees if you want. There are certainly other members who share your interest.

My preferences is definitely paras. However, I would not classify that as an exclusive preference. I have been excited by everything from paras to quads from MS to amps.
I have a rather broad pallet that is inclined toward the paraplegic flavor.
I would like to hijack the thread for a moment, if I may, and ask a secondary question. What is everyones preferences, exclusive of disability. What other physical traits are a turn-on?
For me it is blond hair (longish), blue eyes, light complexion and a lean build.
One of the biggest turn offs for me (physically speaking) is the muscle/bodybuilder/beefcake type. Also, the whole "bad-boy" thing (motorcycles, tattoos and et cetera) can be a turn off.

Technically I'm not new here, but I only posted once or twice a long time ago. So no one probably remembers me. Anyway, my preferences are paraplegics and guys who use crutches or limp (but I'm only attracted to some limps, I still haven't figured out exactly what). I do find myself attracted to leg amputees somewhat, but not nearly as much as the things above. As for traits other than disability, I like brown hair and eyes. I tend to like artsy or musical guys. My turn-offs are pretty much the same as Paige's. And I don't like beards.

I love brown eyes and a lean build too.
As far as the disability aspect, I'm turned on by paras and, like celesty, limping and crutches, etc.
I mainly just know it when I see it.

I have no preference for hair or eye color but I do like fair skin and love a nice head of hair. I like clean shaven guys and find beards, goatees and 'staches to be no go. Not into multi-tattoos, multi-pierced or biker dudes. As far as build? I don't care for 'muscle bound' - prefer average, lean or slightly stocky and prefer average to tall height, even if sitting.

I don't care for 'muscle bound' - prefer average, lean or slightly stocky and prefer average to tall height, even if sitting. Its funny you say that about height. I too like tall guys and even if they are sitting I am 5'9" and always liked guys who were taller than me. When I started dating my husband (who is a DAK amputee and uses a chair full time) people who knew about my height preferance asked me about that since they don't know about my other preferance for amputees. I just told them that he used to be tall and that was what was important. As for other things I like athletic, fit guys who put a effort into their clothes and hair style, metrosexuals. Oh yeah and nice eyes and teeth.
