First off, on the dot and elyse , we should start a dog lovers club within PD lol. My pup is my entire world! For me, I can definitely be physically attracted to ABs but I do not enjoy nor do I care to have a sexual relationship with them at all. I can be romantically attracted to them even, and care about them deeply, but in the end they just cannot satisfy me both in terms of romantic love and sex. It is essentially a requirement for my partner to be dis for me to see a future with them and for me to be sexually attracted to them. But I still have a type, preferences, etc within the PWD side of things. Artie is kinda young and has that youthfulness to his look where Finn was more manly and adult. So even as a dev who essentially cannot romantically/sexually be with an AB, I also find Finn more attractive lol. But if there were two identical Finns and one was a wheeler... then, there would be no question there lol. And I totally get what you mean about muscular paras with gorgeous scruffy faces! I'm pretty lucky as that pretty much describes my guy

I spot wheelers very often (big city perk), but very few would be interesting as they are not my age or type etc... BUT: last week I saw a para who made my heart stop beating for one single second ....until I realized he was just a pasteboard advertisement for who knows what. In real life size. I just starred at this image and felt so betrayed! (Considered stealing him for decorative purposes of my room but I could resist). Sigh.

I can not help but mentioning (again) my smoking hot para neighbor so hot I am changing my dev preference over him LOL. I haven't seen him for 2 weeks now out of which I was out of the city for 10 days. Last night I came back and I can not wait to see him again. He is regular in the local vine bar and I've organized my day today that way that I had lunch there for 2 hours and passed by 2 more times LOL... I am obsessed I know. No sign of him unfortunately. He is not at all my cup of tea but he looks so good that my heart drops every time I see him. He is 30 something, super masculine, super strong upper body (from body building I would say), dark hair, strong jaw, light blue eyes, highly self esteemed and loud... the "taking over the room" kind of a guy... OMG... I think he is married (he hes the ring) but she is never there. Just 3 male friends from the same masculine tribe and he is not noticing me LOL. That's the best part. THANK YOU GOOD. Otherwise I don't know what will happen. I would be completely unable to control. I'll let you know when I see him next time

Yesterday I was on the plane with a hot rbk amp, very muscular (veteran?) tattooed and with a lush lumberjack-y beard. Also, a hot gf

2 comments about wheeler spotting: 1 I noticed - maybe just a coincidence - most I spotted so far seemed very concentrated watching something ahead. They never notice me. It can be a coincidence, besides, in big cities nobody notices anybody anyways. And I´m not THAT noticeable, I look pretty ordinary 2 They drive often very fast, I didn´t know powerchairs could reach such a speed!!!! One guy was actually very cute, I was with a friend and started jumping to drive his attention to me (Malibu, your strategies are rather weird. He obviously ignored you, pretended he did not see you....it´s kinda embarassing you know)...well, it wasn´t THAT weird, because this behaviour fits well my hyperactive personality and my FINALLY found someone absolutely amazingly everything mood) YAYYYYY. But I will try something different next time, maybe fall in front of him, so he would have to stop in order not to hit me. He´d ask if I´m fine, and I´d say I´d only be able to tell in a few hours, maybe he could give me his number. (Or he hits me with his chair, sighs, drives around and ignores me completely because he´s already bored of this strategy.)

Both happened last night at work (I'm working part time at a supermarket as a cashier)
It was about the end of my shift and the store was slammed with customers, I started scanning items for a customer and once they got to the front of the register I looked up and began greeting the customer when I noticed out of the corner of my eye I saw a wheelchair approaching the exit far away. A young guy in a low backrest manual chair, probably a few years older than me. He left and I was like damn, why didn't he go in my line! Lol.
Earlier in the day I had a guy with what I think was mild CP came through my line. Probably 15 years older than me but still was cute. He wasn't too much of a talker.

Last weekend I went to my cousin's wedding. He lives about 200 km from where I live in a small, small town - actually a village... As per local customs the wedding was huge - 400 people. I went there with my BF and sister. At some point, about one hour after the celebration started my bf pulled my hand (I was talking to my sister atm so I was looking the other way) and told me: "look, wheeler!!!". Of course the moment I turned my head I saw him and imediately figured that the guy is DAK. The perfect one, with almost no stumps at all. He was wheeling towards the newlyweds table to congratulate them... I lost ability to speak and I was so attracted to him imediately that I can't remember I felt attraction that strong ever before in my life. Btw - this was the first time I have ever seen young (and not 80+) DAK amputee irl. And that is my dev preference and I am 38. You can imagine how I felt. I imediately jumped from my chair and went "to a ladies room" just to pass by him - so I did. He did not pay any attention to me. As I saw when I approached him he was around 40 y.o. very manly and with rural face and of course his face was not attractive to me but still he was not repulsive. I've spent the rest of our (thanks to God very short) stay as a crazy person, constantly trying to locate him... We exchanged glances a couple of times and that's it. I don't have to mention that he has been on my mind 24/7 since then.

I was having a beer earlier today in a pub garden while waiting for friends to arrive. There was a para guy at the next table, a good looking bit of rough (redneck), which I quite like. He had nice tanned legs and was wearing soft canvas shoes that really showed the shape of his feet as they curved over his footrest.
He saw me looking at his legs and ask if I was "a poof or a pervert" I just braved it and said both, with a smile. He seemed to find it quite funny, but it was a bit embarrassing.

I'm at my boyfriend's and have to write a paper for uni, which I seem to not be able to do when he's around. So, yesterday I asked him to show me the uni's library, so I can go there to finally write this thing. We went to two different faculties and at one of them there are stairs to get into the building through the main entrance, so he told me he'd wait outside. I went in and took a look around the working places, then went back to the entrance hall to look at the opening hours. And then there came this guy with (what I'm pretty sure was) Spina Bifida. Since I still wasn't completely sure about the opening hours or if there was yet another working area I could go to and I assumed he was a student there, I went up to him and asked. He was very friendly and it was a nice little talk. So, yes, ladies and gents, I actually went up to a random wheeler and talked to him! For the very first time in my life. I was so proud of myself and even though he didn't have my prefered disability, I was all excited when we were done.

I'm in Tenerife with my boyfriend for holidays and yesterday I saw a cute quad girl strolling down the street with what appeared to be her AB boyfriend. I know, this is exactly the wrong way of thinking, but I couldn't help to wonder if he's a dev, too.
Oh also we saw a para with his wife the other day.
Generally there's a lot of wheelers here, but of course with many different disabilities.

My bf and I came home after spending a week on an island in the Baltic sea the other day. We saw a few wheelers there, but most of them weren't interesting to me. On our way there I saw a blind guy and a female quad amp. I think it was the first quad amp I've ever seen in real life. My bf said he saw a different quad amp that evening, but somehow I didn't notice her. There was a guy in a power chair we met several times. Near the beach we saw two paras with their wives. Surprisingly, one of them was being pushed by his wife. Maybe he was exhausted from rolling down the steep slope to the beach. We also got to talk to another wheeler/AB couple.
