I've seen Dan Deacon like 5 or 6 times and whenever I know he's coming through town, I always immediately buy tickets. There is nothing comparable to seeing Dan Deacon live and I've been to a lot of shows. Big and small. Nothing compares at all. I've never seen an act that is capable of getting every single fucking person in a room to participate in the show, it's incredible to see. Plus, the music rules. |

That looks a lot like the first time I saw him. It was at Bumbershoot in this massive hall, and people were packed around him like fucking sardines, jumping up and down and flailing like toddlers and falling all over each other. I was right behind him and was terrified someone was going to fall on me. At one point two people literally climbed on his back and he just laughed and kept playing. It was incredible. |

I just rediscovered the band Gaytheist. It's been a good 3 or 4 years since I've seen them but they've always been one of my favorite live acts. |
